GF Machining Solutions sets new standards with world premieres at the AMB 2024 in Stuttgart

GF Machining Solutions will be attracting attention at this year’s AMB in Stuttgart from 10 to 14 September 2024. With impressive innovations and revolutionary technologies, the contribution of GF Machining Solutions promises to be a highlight. In hall 7, at stand 7B41, manufacturers can see the technologies of the future for themselves.
AMB is increasingly becoming the leading trade fair for metalworking in Germany, and GF Ma-chining Solutions will be making a strong impression with the presentation of groundbreaking in-novations. Highlights include the world premiere of the MILL S 400 U with Sinumerik One, which combines HSC Milling with Siemens technology, and the European premiere of the Laser S 500 (U), which opens new possibilities in the micromachining of 3D molds. Visitors will also be able to experience other top products such as the MILL S 600 U with Grinding function and the CUT X 500 with cobot automation, a benchmark in Wire-cutting EDM.
World premiere of a Milling machine with Siemens control
The MILL S 400 U has been equipped with a Siemens control system – a unique feature for HSC Milling machines. This further development demonstrates the constant endeavor to combine state-of-the-art technology with superior user-friendliness. Visible at the stand, the MILL S 600 U G Showcases the combination of milling and grinding technology with extremely high machine dynamics and consistent thermal stability results in high-quality products and helps customers achieve a quick return on their investment. This feature provides a seamless transition between processes avoiding the need to reclamp the part. The reduction in idle and waiting times is one of the many positive aspects, whereas the main benefit is increased accuracy. The MILL S/X (U) is the ideal machine, especially for applications that require high surface quality.
European premiere of the LASER S 500 (U) combining all the know-how in one machine
Accuracy and speed are at the heart of the brand-new LASER S 500 (U), which will be on show at the exhibition. With its outstanding capabilities and performance in processing a wide range of soft and hard materials, it sets the course for the future of Micromachining and 3D Surface Pro-cessing. Manufacturers in the information and communication technology, medical technology and watchmaking sectors can look forward to more effective and efficient machining technology.
Pioneers of electric discharge machining display their skills
The latest CUT X series combines more than 70 years of EDM history in the best Wire-cutting EDM machine ever built. There is no compromise between precision, surface quality or speed: the unique technologies of a CUT X ensure the best results in all three areas. The CUT X is char-acterized by exceptional axis accuracy and a thermal management system that ensures constant precision under all operating conditions. My rConnect – The new platform with direct service access, digital and without detours
“My rConnect” offers users a seamless way to reach their service contacts with a single click, eliminating the need for hotlines or waiting in queues. This digital portal provides access to the ticket system, facilitates communication through chat and video calls, and allows easy monitoring of machine status on the go. Users can also receive push notifications on their phones, enabling proactive problem identification and resolution before production is impacted. This is just the be-ginning, as more functionalities and features are set to be added soon.
Automation with AMR and cobot
Automation requirements are currently changing from former relatively simple placement solu-tions to AMR (autonomous mobile robots) solutions or local cobot solutions. The latter is available both as an integrated on-board solution and as a stand-alone solution. Both approaches combine flexibility and efficiency without a high individual investment per machine. Both solutions can be seen at the GF Machining Solutions stand in Hall 7, Stand 7B41.
Machines in the CUT X series offer maximum contour and angle accuracy with repeatable position tolerances for outstanding part quality.
Tiltable and adjustable dressing spindles close to the working area on the MILL S and MILL X ensure a fast-sanding set-up and process.
